Legally Blonde

In Spring of 2024, I worked alongside lighting designer Gordon Olson at the Anne R. Belk Theater in the theater department's production of Legally Blonde. As assistant lighting designer I was able to shadow Gordon Olson and assist in the design process and creation of the light plot. I also assisted in the focus call and programming of the production giving me the foundational experience of being a lighting designer. During tech week I was tasked with coordinating with the stage manager, spotlight operator, and lightboard operator on changes made and kept the cue sheets updated for the crew. A memorable and fulfilling experience that would increase my love for theater and lighting design.
